Terms of Use for Outzip.de

1. General

1.1. These terms of use govern the use of the website Outzip.de (hereinafter referred to as the “platform”), operated by Outzip UG, Rollbergstraße 28A, Berlin, registered under HRB 264494 B.

1.2. By using this platform, you agree to these terms of use. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Definition of Parties

2.1. The lessor or seller is Outzip UG (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "the lessor", or "Outzip UG").

2.2. The renter is the person specified in the order as the renter or buyer (hereinafter referred to as "you", "your", or "the renter").

3. Payment, Deposit, and Prices

3.1. Payment is made online at the time of booking. A deposit will be reserved depending on the rental item and can be used to cover damages or late returns.

3.2. All prices include VAT. In case of pricing errors, Outzip UG reserves the right to unilaterally change or cancel orders.

3.3 Deposit refund (or unblock) will usually take maximal 14 days after the return. After each rental we will first check every order and every item for any damage or loss. Afterwards we will either inform you about any problems and/or unblock the deposit amount.

4. Condition of the Rental Item

4.1. Outzip UG commits to providing high-quality, operational rental items. You are required to inspect the rental item before use.

5. Damages and Costs for Misuse

5.1. Damages, technical defects, or accidents during the rental period must be reported immediately to our stuff, eventually you can write an email to orders@outzip.de.

5.2. Normal wear and tear include minor scratches and general wear. Misuse includes significant damage, soiling, or other signs of improper use. In the case of damages due to misuse, an additional charge of 50% of the current market value of the product will be applied.

6. Cleaning

6.1. Normal cleaning and maintenance of the rental item are included in the rental price.

6.2. In cases of excessive dirt or disorganized returns, an additional cleaning fee of €10 will be charged.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

7.1. Outzip UG is not liable for direct or indirect damages arising from the use of rental items caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.

8. Data Protection

8.1. Outzip UG processes your personal data in accordance with our privacy policy.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

9.1. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

9.2. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these terms of use is Berlin.

10. Changes to the Terms of Use

10.1. Outzip UG reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. The amended terms will be published on the platform and will come into effect upon publication.

11 Cancellation and amendment conditions:

11.1 All cancellations made more than seven days before your first day of use are free of charge. For cancellations made between seven days and 48 hours before use, we charge 20% of the rental price. For super last minute cancellations less than 48 hours we charge 80% of the rental price.

11.2 You can of course make changes to your bookings at any time. Additional products can be added at any time. If you change your booking less than seven days before the start of use and remove individual items, we will charge 20% for the removed items. If changes are made less than 48 hours before use, 80% of the costs will be charged for the removed items.
